United Kingdom – Following her appearance on X-Factor in 2009, the world has kept a close eye on Tambu-christel. The highly-driven music star and entrepreneur has used her ‘failure is not an option’ approach to garner huge success in the entertainment and business worlds. With a busy twelve months ahead, the trend is long set to continue.

2013 will see Tambu-christel release a string of new music via her independent record label and continue to share her passion for family and personal development with all that will listen.

All of this forms part of a huge comeback for the twenty-five year old, who retreated from the public’s eye for two years while perusing  numerous business ventures and giving birth to her third child. However, as she explains, she wasn't sat in silence.

“I had my baby in June of 2012 and things really started to kick off.  It surrounded my debut single, ‘Preach’, which was released in 2010. Suddenly, nominations for awards started flooding from all directions,” she says.

Continuing, “I found myself being nominated for Best Soul, R’n’B and Jazz in organisations such as the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.”

With demand for her music growing, Tambu-christel knew a comeback was being called for. After travelling the world to secure various business deals, she orchestrated a magnificent comeback during winter of last year. Celebrating the event with the release of various videos of recording sessions, she got the attention of former A&R scout Kevin Shine (who discovered R.Kelly) as well as Grammy winning songwriter Lashawn Daniels who wrote the number one hit “love and war” from singer Tamar Braxton.

Since that point the public have been calling for a new single release. Using the power of social media and building up a growing and dedicated band of followers, the singer is keeping them excitedly waiting as she finalises plans for her next big announcement.

“While I live my life in the spotlight, the values and tradition of family are still my biggest passions. I want to use my platform to educate others about the importance of valuing loved ones and being a good person,” she adds.

(Aug. 12th 1987) was born in Switzerland but lived in the UK for over ten years. England is where the singer started her career. She now resides in California.

The former X-Factor (UK) contestant of the 2009 edition, ambitious and highly talented has not only formed her own record label and production company but also announced its activity back in that same year of 2009 right after her X-factor exit. Tambu-christel has long had ambitions to be recognized as one of the first women in the music industry to set up their own label and scale the country to sign up other young fresh artists.

Singer/songrwriter, Tambu-christel Pembele, is professionally coached by none other than the legendary Willie Norwood, father of RnB sensationBrandy.
